TVSF Code of Conduct

CODE OF CONDUCT

2 CLUB CODE OF PRACTICE  (from TVSF Handbook)
The following code of practice is to be read in conjunction with the BMFA
Members Handbook. Should there be any discrepancy between these two
documents, the BMFA Handbook will be the Principal Document.
The document is intended to sustain the enjoyment we all share in our
particular interest of Silent Model Flight and to help the newer member
more fully enjoy all the options available to them.
2.1 GENERAL TOPICS
2.1.1 CONDUCT
Whilst the main aim of our sport is enjoyment, we must not let it override
our responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of others in the community,
some of whom may not be sympathetic to our hobby. We should at all
times act in a responsible manner so as to promote a positive and safe
attitude in accordance with the BMFA rules and Air Navigation Order CAA
CAP722 or Article 16.
Members should ensure that their conduct when using any of the Club
sites and facilities is responsible, and does not detract from our hobby.
The aim should be to promote the hobby, generally and the interests of
TVSF in particular.
It is in the interest and therefore the responsibility of each member to
support the guidelines and help to remind other members who have
digressed. TVSF relies on the responsible attitude of its members towards
the potential dangers of flying.
